NOTICE OF INFORMATION SESSIONS AND RATIFICATION VOTE

By now, all PTSU members who have shared their personal emails with the union should have received a copy of the ratification kit containing a summary of the tentative agreement, a copy of the memorandum of settlement, and a draft copy of the tentative agreement between the PTSU and the University of New Brunswick. The bargaining team and the PTSU executive have now established dates and times for three information sessions/webinars at which bargaining team members will answer questions about the tentative agreement so that members can make informed decisions about ratification. Under PSAC regulations, members must be in good standing (i.e. have signed a union card) and must attend at least one information session before they will be allowed to participate in the ratification vote, which will be held electronically. The information sessions are scheduled for the following times: Mon, Apr 27, 2020 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ADT Mon, Apr 27, 2020 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM ADT Thu, Apr 30, 2020 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM ADT To register for an information session, which you can attend by computer or telephone, please click on the following link: https://register.gotowebinar.com/rt/6885124627214644236.

Electronic voting conducted by Intelivote will open at 9 am on April 28th, 2020 and will remain open until 5 pm on May 6th, 2020. Members who have registered for an information session will receive an email or a letter from Intelivote containing the information necessary to participate in the ratification vote (by computer or telephone), along with a unique PIN number for each member. The PIN will only be activated after a member has attended an information session. Please check your junk mail if you do not receive an Intelivote email prior to your information session. Questions about the ratification process should be directed to Raphaëlle Valay-Nadeau at ValaynR@psac-afpc.com.

We look forward to hearing from you at one of the sessions listed above.

In solidarity, The PTSU Executive and Bargaining Team
