Your PSAC ID is your unique number identifying you as a member in good standing. You will have this card when you attend general Union meetings to show your member-in-good standing status, which allows you to participate in all union activities at the national, regional and local level (e.g., contract ratification votes, training, etc.).
Also, once you receive your membership card, you become eligible for $5,000 free life insurance and $5,000 accidental death & dismemberment coverage through PSAC Insurance Trust. If you have your membership card, but have not yet received an insurance enrollment form, just let us know!
